![]() Initially I thought this was because of swap/swappiness but it doesn't seem to be the case when I've tried to adjust these things. I use low memory alternatives for apps and have to close background apps a lot more. Some programs will shut down on their own. If I try to do the same on Linux, my computer starts to freeze. I would run Dropbox, my VPN, QBittorrent, and a bunch of other apps at the same time while running other resource intensive programs and browsing the internet. On Windows with my 16GB RAM, I could run many programs without any stuttering or issues. I didn't even know I needed more RAM until I came to Linux lol. I know the obvious answer will be to get more RAM and I probably will sometime, but I want to understand what's going on.
